Eng. David W. Liambila (Director/Chief Manager, Water Division)
Eng. David Liambila has over 10 years of experience in design and construction supervision of water supply, sewerage, sanitation, water resources, Dams, hydrology, irrigation and drainage projects in Kenya and in Eastern Africa. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science Degree in Water Resources Engineering both from The University of Nairobi. Eng. Liambila is a Registered Professional Engineer in Kenya and a Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK). He has experience in preparation and evaluation of Tender / Contract documents; Technical and Financial Proposals writing for various water and sanitation projects; conversant with FIDIC Conditions of Contract, Claim evaluation and Contract management for water and sanitation projects; conversant with World Bank’s bidding procedures and documentation, for Water Supply, Sewerage and Sanitation Project, (Small Works and Large Works Contracts); conversant with water sector reforms in Kenya, with good grasp of the water supply and sanitation, water resources and irrigation situation in Kenya.
